Luke: “It’s definitely around data privacy, people worry, ‘what if my data gets out?’ There’s real hesitation because of that. But there are options, you can use on-prem solutions or local LLMs. Many businesses shut down the idea of AI before exploring these alternatives.”
📍Q: You’ve co-founded multiple ventures. What common thread runs through all your entrepreneurial projects?
Luke: “It’s always leaned into emerging tech. Even when I was working in web development, the goal was the same, take what’s new and turn it into business value. I’ve always been drawn to exploring what’s next and finding ways to make it useful.”
📍Q: How do you personally stay ahead of rapid technological change without getting overwhelmed?
Luke: “There’s no way to stay ahead of everything. You have to specialise and localise, focus on a specific area and do it really well. Otherwise, you end up doing endless Research & Development without producing real results. I rely on others to teach me about areas outside my niche, and that collaboration helps me stay balanced.”
